Upper Upper West is a climbing area in Vermont, about a mile from the town of West Bolton. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots and short trails, with Wild West Wall and Main Face each about 0.1 mile away, and the Old VAST Trail at a similar distance. The area is a mix of bouldering and sport and trad climbing. It has 10 routes in total, with six of them boulders, two sport routes and two trad routes. The boulders run from V0 up to V3-4, with the hardest of them, Eastern Equine Encephalitis, at V3-4. The sport and trad routes are rated from 5.6 to 5.8. Summer and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 77°F with lows near 58°F, and September highs around 68°F. Libby's Look Loop is a hike about 0.4 mile away. The Winooski River, a fishing spot, is roughly 4.3 miles off, and Little River State Park, a campground, is about 7 miles away.
