Right Vale is a bouldering area in Vermont's Green Mountain and Finger Lakes National Forests, within the Manchester Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing sits close to two other bouldering spots, Perfect 60 and Balance Rock, both about 0.1 mile away. The area's five routes are all boulders, with grades ranging from V0 to V1-2. Among them are Deet Your Veggies and Moszie at V0, and Comfort Over Style and Style over Comfort at V1-2. The boulders are the focus here, and the routes are short, so a day at Right Vale can be built around a cluster of these problems. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Peru, at a similar elevation, run to highs around 75°F in July with lows near 56°F. Winters are cold, with January highs around 27°F. Nearby, the Spruce Peak hike and Bromley Shelter are both about 1.4 miles away, and the Appalachian Trail;Long Trail passes within about 2 miles. For fishing, Hapgood Pond is roughly 5 miles off.
