Left Vale is a bouldering area in Vermont's Manchester Ranger District, part of the Green Mountain and Finger Lakes National Forests. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing sits within a cluster of bouldering spots, with Bobcat Boulder and The Arborist each about 0.1 mile away. The area is a bouldering destination, with seven routes all rated on the V scale. The grades run from V3 to V8, and the styles are all bouldering. Among the named routes are The Man In The High Castle at V3, Glacial Erratica at V5, and Earthbound at V8. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Peru, at a similar elevation, show July highs around 75°F with lows near 56°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s.
