Saddle Loop Trail is a short, moderate mountain biking route in Utah, about 1.4 miles from the town of Kamas. It sits on the way up Escalador, roughly 2.4 miles from the trailhead, and makes a quick loop back to the top of the climb. The trail is a 0.4-mile out-and-back with a low of about 7,372 feet and a high of about 7,419 feet. The route is mostly smooth and meandering through the trees, with a flowy descent on the way back. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Kamas show July highs around 84°F with lows near 50°F, while winter brings frequent snow days and highs in the mid-30s. Dogs are allowed. The closest neighbors are The Chase Trail, about 0.1 mile away, and the Upper Escalador Trail and Bottoms Up Trail, each about 0.3 mile off. Ponderosa Group Campground is about 3.8 miles away.
