Wheeler Creek is a short, gentle mountain biking route in the Ogden Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. It covers about a mile and a quarter, rising roughly 200 feet from a low point of about 5,450 feet to a high of about 5,640 feet. The Forest Service manages the land. The most comfortable months for a ride are typically June and September, when typical averages from the Pineview Dam weather station, about 2 miles away, reach highs near 77°F and 75°F with lows around 43°F and 40°F. July is the warmest month, with typical highs near 87°F. Winter is cold, with typical January highs around 32°F and lows near 9°F. The Icebox mountain biking route and the Old Snowbasin Road Winter cross-country ski route both lie about 0.4 miles away. Maples Campground is about 2 miles off, and the Killer Crag climbing area is about 3 miles away.
