Outer Moose Loop is a short mountain biking route in the Ogden Ranger District of Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in northern Utah, about 0.96 miles long with a total elevation gain of 132 feet. It runs between roughly 6,255 and 6,411 feet. Summer and early fall are the mildest times to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 87°F and September highs near 75°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the loop run cooler. Inner Moose Loop and Meadow Loop both start close by, within about a quarter mile. Maples Campground is about 0.7 miles away, and the Snowbasin climbing area is about 1.9 miles off.
