Beck Hollow Trail is a 7.1-mile out-and-back route in the Escalante Ranger District of Dixie National Forest in southern Utah. It rises about 1,370 feet from a low point of 7,663 feet to a high of 8,937 feet, and the Forest Service manages the land. The trail is rated hard and carries a natural surface. Horses and bikes are both allowed, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. At a nearby weather station, typical July averages run to a high of 81°F and a low of 45°F, and the station sits about 1,350 feet below the trail's high point, so temperatures on the ridge run cooler. The station also records the most wet days in August, at 11, while June and September see fewer. The trail is open from May 1 through October 31. Nearby, the White Creek Trail and Great Western Trail are within 2 miles for mountain biking. Barker Recreation Area and Upper Barker Reservoir, a fishing lake, are both about 3 miles away.
