Hardy Trail is a 1.24-mile hike in Tennessee's Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park. It's a moderate out-and-back with a total length of 2.5 miles and an elevation gain of 219 feet, taking you from a low point of 1,506 feet to a high of 1,740 feet. Fall is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 67°F and lows near 51°F, and September and October bring the fewest wet days of the year.
