Blue Blazes Trail is a short, easy loop in Tennessee, about 1.2 miles from the town of Lake Village. The trail is 1.5 miles long, with a low point of 646 feet and a high of 667 feet, so the climb is minimal, just 12 feet of elevation gain. The route is a loop, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.67 miles in, with a 7% grade. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Chattanooga show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar at about 74°F by day and 50°F at night. July and August average highs near 90°F. The Tennessee Riverwalk is less than a mile away, and the Decomissioned Old Wauhatchie Pike (now a Trail) and the Browns Ferry Federal Road Trace are both about 1.3 miles off. Climbers can find Siri about 1.6 miles away.
