Red XC Trail is a cross-country ski route in Laurel Ridge State Park in Pennsylvania, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is an out-and-back of about 1.8 miles, with a total climb of 200 feet and a high point of 2,794 feet. The route is rated moderate, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.5 miles in, with a grade of about 5 percent. Winter is the natural season for this trail. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Hidden Valley, at a similar elevation, show January highs around 32°F and lows near 17°F, while March runs a bit milder, with highs around 44°F.
