Red XC Trail is a cross-country ski route in Laurel Ridge State Park in Pennsylvania, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is about 1.2 miles long and rated moderate, with a total climb of 195 feet over the out-and-back route. The high point is about 2844 feet, and the low is about 2782 feet, with the steepest stretch at about 0.5 miles in, where the grade reaches 4%. Winter is the natural season for this trail. Typical averages from the nearby Hidden Valley weather station show January highs around 32°F and lows near 17°F, while March runs a bit milder, with highs around 44°F.
