The Vault is a climbing area on State Game Land 051 in Pennsylvania, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Fern Gully about 1.5 miles away and Coll's Cove Bouldering about 1.6 miles off. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Chalk Hill show July highs around 79°F with lows near 55°F, while winter highs stay in the 30s. Kentuck Campground, about 5 miles away, is the closest place to camp. For hiking, the Mitchell Trail is about 3 miles away and the Sugar Run Trail about 4 miles.
