Sharp Shooter is a bouldering area on State Game Land 051 in Pennsylvania, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Main Area about 0.2 miles away and Coll's Cove Bouldering about 0.3 miles away, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the surrounding crags. The area holds 12 bouldering routes, all rated from V1 to V10 on the V scale. The hardest is PTSD at V10, and the route named Sharp Shooter is at V6. The boulders are the focus here, and the area is best suited to climbers who want to work on problems rather than climb on rope. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 55°F, while winter highs stay in the 30s.
