Dark Side is a bouldering area in western Pennsylvania, about a mile from the community of Bowest. It sits alongside Light Side, a climbing area just 0.1 mile away, and within a few miles of several other bouldering and hiking destinations. The bouldering here runs from V1 to V5, with 16 routes clustered in the V1 to V5 range. The easiest is Silly Sally at V1, and the hardest is Weeping Vagina at V5. Among the routes, Firesticks and PUR Pocket Power are both around V4, and King Kong is a V5-6 boulder. For a longer outing, Fern Gully and Coll's Cove Bouldering are both within about 3 miles, and the Pimo Rocks Trail is roughly 6 miles away. Kentuck Campground, about 8 miles off, offers a place to stay.
