River's End is a climbing area in Ohiopyle State Park in Pennsylvania, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with School House Crag about 0.3 miles away and Maple Wall about 0.6 miles away, so it works well as one stop in a day of exploring the park's crags. The area has nine routes, seven of which are sport climbs, with one top-rope and one trad route. Grades run from 5.5 up to 5.12b, with the median around 5.10+. Snail Trail is the trad route at 5.5, and Sludge Factory is the hardest at 5.12b. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 73°F and September highs around 77°F, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and a few snowy days a month from December through February. Other nearby options include the Mitchell Trail and Sugar Run Trail for hiking, and Kentuck Campground about 2 miles away for an overnight stay.
