Maple Wall is a climbing area in Ohiopyle State Park in Pennsylvania, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with School House Crag about 0.4 miles away and River's End about 0.6 miles away. The area has 10 routes, with sport climbing making up the majority. Grades run from 5.7 to 5.12b, and the hardest route is Prince of Darkness, a sport climb at 5.12b. Among the routes are Unfamiliar Territory, a trad climb at 5.7, and Sabotage, a top-rope route at 5.9. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 73°F and September highs around 77°F, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and a few snowy days each month from December through February. Other climbing areas close by include Bruner Run, about a mile away, and the Mitchell Trail and Sugar Run Trail hikes, both within about 1.6 miles. Kentuck Campground is about 2.5 miles away.
