Short Stack is a climbing area on State Game Land 051 in Pennsylvania, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It sits among several other climbing areas, with Corridors, Brutal Block and Snip Block all about 0.1 mile away. The area has 12 routes, with six sport routes and five trad routes. Grades run from 5.8 to 5.11d, and the hardest is Reunion, a trad route at 5.11d. Among the trad routes are Hang On Slopey and Slopers in the Rain, both at 5.8, and Left Arete at 5.10b. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 55°F, while winter highs stay in the 30s. For a walk, the Pimo Rocks Trail is about 2 miles away. Kentuck Campground, roughly 5 miles off, offers a place to stay.
