Snip Block is a climbing area on State Game Land 051 in Pennsylvania, about 2 miles from the town of Irishtown. The land is managed by State Fish and Wildlife, and the area sits among several other climbing spots, including Bob Block and Corridors, each about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is sport-oriented, with six routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.12b. The top rope route, Let It Bleed, is the only one of that style. The hardest sport route is Snip, Snip, Snip at 5.11b, and the median grade is 5.10c. The area's top rope route, Let It Bleed, is the only one of that style. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 55°F, while January highs average about 34°F. For a change from the rock, the Pimo Rocks Trail is about 2 miles away, and Kentuck Campground is roughly 5 miles off.
