Overstory Wall is a sport climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in Oregon, within the Nw Oregon Upper Willamette Field Office. It sits among several other climbing spots and a short hike, so it works well as a stop in a day of exploring the surrounding crags and trails. The wall has five sport routes, all of which were first ascended by Dee and Dave Tvedt in 2020. The grades run from 5.7 to 5.10a/b, with The Understory at 5.7 and The Descent at 5.10a/b. The Overstory and Tree Hugger are both 5.8, and Webs of Connection is 5.9. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb here. Typical averages from the Oakridge Fish Hatchery weather station, about 17 miles away, show July and August highs around 80 to 81°F with only two or three wet days a month. That station sits roughly 1,600 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the wall run cooler. The closest neighbors are (H) Studio and (G) Quarantine Wall, both about 0.1 mile away, and the Eagle's Rest hike. Goodman Creek is about 1.7 miles off.
