The Turtle Boulder is a bouldering area in Oregon, about 4.6 miles from the town of Winberry. It sits close to two other climbing areas, Clear Cut Boulders and Madrone Coves, both within a quarter mile, which makes it an easy addition to a day spent in the surrounding bouldering network. The area has nine boulder problems, ranging from the easy V0- on The Rube Tube to the harder V8 on Fulowly Dosed. The typical average is V3, with the hardest routes sitting in the V5-6 and V8 range. That puts it among the more advanced problems in the cluster. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 80°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. Winberry Creek, a paddling spot, is about 1.5 miles away. For hiking, Hardesty Trail #3469 lies roughly 2.8 miles off, and Timber Butte Cabin, about 6 miles away, offers a place to stay.
