Clear Cut Boulders is a bouldering area in Oregon, about 4.6 miles from the town of Winberry. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Turtle Boulder just 0.1 mile away and Madrone Coves 0.2 mile off, so it works well as a stop in a day of exploring the surrounding boulders. The area has six bouldering routes, all rated on the V scale from V1 to V5-6. The easiest is "To the tip" at V1, and the hardest is "Stuart Little Does Wheelies" at V5-6. "Fievel Goes West" is a V2 route with a 2021 first ascent by Elijah S. May, and "Garden Starters" is a V4 route with a first ascent by Micah Elconin. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 80°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. That station sits roughly 770 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the climbing area run cooler.
