Cascade Wall is a sport climbing area in Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, within the Tiller Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the climbing is all on sport routes, with seven routes spread across the wall. The most comfortable months for a visit are late summer and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Sexton Summit, which sits about 26 miles away, put July and August highs around 77°F with lows in the low 50s and only about two wet days a month. By October, highs drop to the upper 50s and wet days return to about nine a month. The routes run from 5.9 up to 5.12a. Among them are Indigo at 5.9, Night Hunter at 5.10c, and Legacy at 5.12a, which Bill Newcomb first climbed in 1997. The closest neighbors are Emerald City and Spotted Owl Wall, each about 0.1 mile away. Threehorn Campground is 3.8 miles off, and Cow Creek Falls is 7.5 miles away.
