The Mole is a climbing area in Smith Rock State Park in Oregon, on city-managed land. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Staender Ridge and Adit Rock each about 0.1 mile away and Fireplace Boulder about 0.2 mile off. The Wolf Tree Trail is the closest hike, roughly 0.4 mile away. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 79°F, while July and August average in the upper 80s.
