Smith Rock Bouldering is a bouldering area within Smith Rock State Park in Oregon, on city-managed land. It sits among several named climbing areas, including (5) Jungle Land, (1) Parched Cat Cliff (aka Cox Rocks) and (4) Star Wall, all about 0.1 mile away. The bouldering here is short and compact, with two routes, Left Exit and Original Exit, both rated V3 on the V scale. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Redmond show May highs around 69°F and September highs near 79°F, while July and August average highs in the upper 80s. The Homestead Trail and Canyon Trail are both about 0.4 mile away. For an overnight stay, Skull Hollow campground is about 3.8 miles off.
