Student Wall is a climbing area in Smith Rock State Park in Oregon, on city-managed land. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Reproductive Wall and The Textbooks both about 0.1 mile away, and Fireplace Boulder at a similar distance. The area is a compact cluster of boulders and walls rather than a single route, and the closest trails, Wolf Tree Trail and Homestead Trail, are within half a mile. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 79°F, with July and August peaking near 88°F and winter lows in the mid-20s. The one route listed here is Kindergarten Crack, a top-rope climb graded 5.5 on the YDS scale. It's the only route in the area's OpenBeta records, so the wall works well as a short, focused outing. For an overnight stay, Skull Hollow campground is about 3.7 miles away.
