Railyard is a short, steep mountain biking route in L.L. "Stub" Stewart State Park in Oregon, on city-managed land. The ride is an out-and-back of about half a mile, with a total climb of about 276 feet from a low point of 1,205 feet to a high of 1,367 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.16 miles, with a grade of 12 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Vernonia show July and August highs around 77 to 78°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on 20 days a month. Several other trails sit about 0.1 mile away, including Rinse and Repeat, Drip Torch Trail and Greenhorn Trail (upper). Paddlers can find the Nehalem River about 7 miles off.
