Peavey Hook Bridleway is a short mountain biking route in L.L. "Stub" Stewart State Park in Oregon, on city-managed land. The trail is an out-and-back that starts and ends at about 1,290 feet, with a high point of 1,300 feet and a total climb of 76 feet. The route is less than half a mile long, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.18 miles in, with a 7% grade. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Vernonia show July and August highs around 77 to 78°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on 20 days a month. Several other mountain biking routes sit within a tenth of a mile, including Lasso Loop, Brush Monkey and North Caddywhomper Way. For paddling, the Nehalem River is about 7 miles away.
