Wahclella Falls is an easy, short hike in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The route is about 0.7 miles long and is an out-and-back, with a total climb of about 50 feet and a total descent of about 50 feet. It's a flat, low-elevation walk, so it works well as a quick stop. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Bonneville Dam weather station show July and August highs around 79 to 80°F, with only four or five wet days a month. Winter is much wetter, with about 20 to 22 wet days a month from December through February. Wauna Viewpoint is about 1.2 miles away, and Eagle Creek Overlook campground is about 1.3 miles away. Tanner Butte is about 1.6 miles away, and the Bridge of the Gods Boulders climbing area is about 2.9 miles away.
