Trout Creek Tie is an easy, 1.8-mile out-and-back hike in the Three Sisters Wilderness, on the Sisters Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail sits within designated wilderness. The route starts at about 5,309 feet and reaches a high point of 5,324 feet, with a total climb of 397 feet and a steepest stretch of about 8% at roughly 0.4 miles. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses, but bikes are not permitted. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Santiam Junction show July and August highs around 76°F with lows near 42°F.
