Tolinda Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Forest Park, a city-managed land unit in Oregon. The trail is about 1.2 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 748 feet, and it reaches a high point of 661 feet. The route is rated easy, and the climb is steepest near the start, with a 20% grade at about 0.29 miles. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 81 to 82°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs near 50°F and rain on roughly 17 to 20 days. That station sits about 476 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures on the trail run cooler. The hike takes about an hour. The trailhead is close to Northwest Leif Erikson Drive and Northwest Springville Road, both used for mountain biking, and Wildwood Trail and Water Line Trail are about 0.3 miles away.
