Teddy Lake is a short, easy hike in the Three Sisters Wilderness, part of the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is about a mile long with a total climb of about 94 feet, making it a quick out-and-back. The route is natural-surfaced and rated easy. Horses are allowed, and bikes are not. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.17 miles from the start, and the trail reaches a high point of about 4,934 feet before returning to the starting elevation. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Wickiup Dam weather station show July highs around 83°F with only about three wet days, while winter highs sit in the low 40s. Teddy Lakes Trail #9 lies about 0.4 miles away, and the Metolius-Windigo Trail is about 0.6 miles off. West Cultus Boat-In and Big Cove Boat-In, both about a mile away, offer camping.
