Winopee Tie is a 5.3-mile out-and-back hike in the Bend/Fort Rock Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated moderate, with a total climb of about 480 feet from the start at roughly 4,470 feet to a high of about 4,766 feet, and the steepest stretch comes around mile 1.5 at about 11%. The trail is on natural surface, and both horses and bikes are allowed. Benchmark Butte and Cultus Corral Horse Camp sit about 0.1 mile away, and Cow Meadow Campground and Cultus Lake are each within about 2 miles. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Wickiup Dam weather station show July highs around 83°F with lows near 47°F and only about three wet days, while winter highs stay in the low 40s.
