Supertree is an easy hike of less than a mile on the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA of the Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon. It's a short, out-and-back route, with a total gain of about 590 feet over the round trip and a high point of 1,302 feet. The one-way climb from the lower end of the trail is about 186 feet, which makes it a gentle way to spend a few minutes on foot. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs around 82 to 83°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. That station sits roughly 700 feet lower than the trail's high point, so temperatures up top run cooler. The trail is close to other outings. Ouch is another hike about half a mile away, and the mountain biking route Supertree (damaged) is about 0.3 miles off. For a longer stay, Marys Peak Campground is about 3.6 miles away, and the Marys River offers paddling about 4.2 miles out.
