Molalla-Bob Cat Road Trail is a short, easy hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Nw Oregon Cascades Field Office, about 0.45 miles long and roughly 0.9 miles round trip. The trail starts at about 1,320 feet and reaches a high point of 1,472 feet, with a total climb of 389 feet and a steepest stretch of about 29% at around 0.4 miles in. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 75°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs sit in the low 40s. Horses are allowed on the trail. The Molalla-Red Vole Road Trail and Molalla-Huckleberry Trail both start within a quarter mile, and Cedar Grove Campground is about 1.2 miles away.
