Fish Creek Snomo is an easy out-and-back hike in the Diamond Lake Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 2.9 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 925 feet, and it starts and ends near 4,900 feet, with the high point at 4,915 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 79°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and regular snow days. The route is rated easy, and the steepest stretch comes at about 1.1 miles in, with a 10% grade. The trip takes about 1.5 hours. The closest neighbors are Skookum Lake, about a mile away, and the Skookum Creek Connect Snomo and Incense Cedar Loop Snomo hikes, both within about 1.6 miles. For an overnight stay, Whitehorse Falls Campground is about 7 miles off.
