Whitehorse Falls Campground is a Forest Service campground in Oregon's Umpqua National Forest, within the Diamond Lake Ranger District. It is a simple base for exploring the surrounding forest, and its vault toilets are the only amenity listed for the site. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 79°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and roughly 10 to 18 snow days a month from December through February. The closest neighbors are Briggs Forest Camp, about half a mile away, and Stump Lake, about a mile off. Clearwater Falls Campground sits roughly 3.7 miles away, and Umpqua Hot Springs is about 4.6 miles from the campground.
