Endo is a short, easy out-and-back hike in southern Oregon, about 2.3 miles from the town of Pelican City. The route is roughly 1.1 miles long, with a total elevation gain of about 550 feet, and it reaches a high point of 4,879 feet. The climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.36 miles in, where the grade reaches 28 percent. The trail starts at around 4,355 feet and ends at a similar elevation, so the round trip is about 550 feet of climbing and 550 feet of descent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Klamath Falls show July highs around 86°F with only about two wet days, while winter highs sit in the low 40s.
