Demaris Lake is an easy, short hike of about 1.6 miles in the Three Sisters Wilderness, within the Sisters Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon. The trail is an out-and-back route, with a total elevation gain of about 280 feet, and it's open year round. The trail is on natural ground, and the Forest Service allows horses. Bikes are not permitted. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 0.47 miles in, where the grade reaches about 9 percent. The high point is about 6,398 feet, and the low point is about 6,241 feet. The trip takes about half a day. For an extended outing, Climber's Trail lies about a mile away, Camp Lake about 1.4 miles off, and the Three Sisters Wilderness climbing area about 1.6 miles away. Three Creeks Meadow Campground is about 4.5 miles from the trail.
