Daley Creek Snomo

Daley Creek Snomo is a moderate out-and-back hike in the High Cascades Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests in southern Oregon. The route is about 5.4 miles long, with a total climb of 696 feet from the 4,831-foot start to the 5,103-foot high point, and the steepest section comes at about 2.1 miles in, with a 10% grade. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. At a nearby weather station in Howard Prairie Dam, typical July and August highs run near 79°F, with only two or three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days from December through February. The trip takes about two hours. Daley Creek Campground sits about a mile away, and Beaver Dam Campground is roughly 1.2 miles off. Beaver Dam and Robinson Butte Loop Snomo are both within about 3 miles.
