Cripple Camp is an easy out-and-back hike of about 1.4 miles in the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness, on the Tiller Ranger District of the Umpqua National Forest in Oregon. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced. It is not an accessible trail, and bikes are not allowed, though horses are. The route rises about 184 feet one way, with the steepest stretch at about 0.5 miles in, where the grade reaches 11%. The high point is around 4,950 feet, and the low point is about 4,750 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 79°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and regular snow days. Pup Prairie is about 0.7 miles away, and Grasshopper Mountain is about 1.4 miles away. Falcon Creek campground is about 4.5 miles off, and the Rabbit Ears (Rogue) climbing area is about 3.3 miles away.
