Cleetwood Cove Trail is a short, easy hike in Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, managed by the National Park Service. The trail is a point-to-point route of about a mile, with a total elevation gain of 621 feet from the trailhead at 6,185 feet to the high point at 6,822 feet. The climb is rolling, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.77 miles in, with a grade of 30 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 69°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the low 30s and rain on 17 or 18 days. The trailhead is Cleetwood Cove Trailhead, and the hike takes about half an hour. A fee is charged, and dogs, bikes and horses are not allowed. Nearby, Crater Lake Bouldering is about 1.4 miles away. Mount Scott Trail, Fumarole Bay Trail and Wizard Island Summit Trail are all within about 4.6 miles.
