Brice Creek is a 3-mile out-and-back hike in the Cottage Grove Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. The trail starts at the West Brice Creek Trailhead and climbs from about 1,388 feet to a high point of 1,709 feet, gaining 435 feet in total over the course of the route. It is a moderate hike, and the trail surface is natural. Bikes are allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the Oakridge Fish Hatchery weather station, about 15 miles away, show July and August highs around 80 to 81°F with only two or three wet days a month. Winter is much wetter, with 16 to 17 wet days a month from December through February. The Brice Creek Trail #1403 and Cedar Creek Campground are both about 1.2 miles away. Crawfish and Rujada Campground lie roughly 2 miles out, and Sharps Creek, a paddling spot, is about 4 miles away.
