Skookum Pond Campground is a small Forest Service campground in the Tiller Ranger District of the Umpqua National Forest in Oregon. It sits along the shoreline of Skookum Pond, a small, man-made pond, and offers two campsites nestled in a stand of mixed conifers. The site is best suited for a short stay, with vault toilets as the only facility. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 89°F with only a few wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the 40s and rain on most days. There are no garbage services at the campground, so visitors must pack out all their trash. Falcon Creek campground is about 2.4 miles away. Buckeye Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2.8 miles away, and Acker Rock, a climbing area, is about 3.8 miles away. Cougar Butte offers a hike at a similar distance.
