Illahee Gazebo is a Forest Service campground in the North Umpqua Ranger District of Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. It sits about a tenth of a mile from the Illahee Flat hike and roughly 0.7 miles from the North Umpqua Trail: Jessie Wright section, making it an easy base for short outings in the area. The site has vault toilets, and there is no fee to use it. That makes it a simple stop for an overnight or a day of exploring the surrounding trails. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Toketee Falls weather station show July and August highs around 85 to 86°F with only about three wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the low 40s and frequent rain. Eagle Rock Campground is about 1.2 miles away, and Horseshoe Bend Campground is about 2.5 miles off. Paddlers can head to Copeland Creek, about 4.6 miles away, and climbers will find Redmans Tooth about 6.5 miles from the gazebo.
