Archers Fork Loop is a 9.3-mile out-and-back hike in the Athens Ranger District of Wayne National Forest in southeastern Ohio. The trail climbs from about 970 feet to a high point of 1,146 feet, with a total elevation gain of 923 feet, and it is rated hard. The trail is on natural surface and is not accessible. Bikes are allowed, but horses are not. It is managed by the Forest Service and is open year round. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Newport, which sits about 470 feet lower, run to highs near 74°F in May and 67°F in October, while July highs reach about 84°F. The Cosmos Boulders and Umbrella boulders lie just 0.4 miles away, and the Archers Fork TH Connector is 1.2 miles off. For an overnight stay, Hune Bridge Campground is about 5 miles away.
