Horn Hill Loop is a short, low-elevation cross-country ski route in Harriman State Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. The loop is about half a mile long, with a total climb of about 27 feet, and it makes an out-and-back from a starting point near 575 feet. The route is short enough to fit easily into a longer day on the park's trails. Winter is the natural season for this ski loop. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at West Point show January highs around 36°F with lows near 21°F and a few snow days each month from December through February. That station sits well below the park, so temperatures on the loop run cooler. Several other routes lie close by. Fawn and the 1777 W Trail are both within a mile, and the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is about a mile away. For climbing, Blue Mountain Park is roughly 6 miles off.
