Horn Hill Loop is a short, flat cross-country ski route in Harriman State Park, New York, set within the Appalachian National Scenic Trail corridor. The loop is about 0.4 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 27 feet, and it makes an out-and-back trip from a low point of 599 feet to a high of 627 feet. The route is managed by State Park and Recreation. Winter is the natural season for this ski loop. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at West Point show January highs around 36°F with lows near 21°F and a few snow days each month from December through February. That station sits about 300 feet lower than the loop, so temperatures on the trail run a little cooler. The Horns Route and the North-South Connector both lie about half a mile away, and Beechy Bottom Road is under a mile off. For climbing, Harriman State Park's own climbing area is about 5.5 miles away.
