Horn Hill Loop is a cross-country skiing route in Harriman State Park, New York, on land managed by State Park and Recreation. It lies within Harriman State Park and also crosses the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, so it sits at the intersection of two designations. The route is a flat loop, with no elevation gain, and the high and low points both sit at about 600 feet. That makes it a straightforward ski outing rather than a climb. Winter is the natural season for this route. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at West Point show January highs around 36°F with lows near 21°F and a few snow days each month from December through March. The station sits a few hundred feet lower than the loop, so temperatures on the route run slightly cooler. Several other trails start close by. Horns Route and the North-South Connector are each about half a mile away, and Beechy Bottom Road and Timp Pass Road are within about a mile.
