Conklin Track is a cross-country ski route in Harriman State Park in New York, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is short, with a round trip of about 0.7 miles, and it rises from roughly 1,186 feet to about 1,198 feet, a total gain of 167 feet. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 10% grade near the middle of the route. Winter is the natural season for this track. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show January highs around 35°F and lows near 17°F, while the station sits about 500 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the track run cooler.
