Westchester Wilderness Walk/Zofnass Family Preserve is a bouldering area in New York, about a mile from the village of Sarles Corners. It sits among a cluster of trails and climbing spots, with the Southern Loop hike just over half a mile away and the Trudeau Boulders climbing area about 0.7 miles off. The preserve holds six bouldering routes, all rated between V0 and V3 on the V scale. The Coin Collector is the easiest at V0, and Mallard Crack and The Bottle Collector are the hardest at V3. The routes are all boulders, so the area suits climbers looking for short, crag-based problems rather than longer climbs. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Stamford, Connecticut, show May highs around 72°F and September highs around 76°F, with July peaking near 85°F. Trudeau Boulders and the Southern Loop are the closest neighbors, and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation and Westmoreland Sanctuary are both within about five miles.
